Homework is an integral part of the school’s programme for all pupils and should be seen as supporting and extending classwork.
Parents are asked to recognise that pupils may require assistance in organising themselves to do homework. It is important that pupils set aside adequate time for homework and that they have access to a quiet work area. Pupils in all year groups are issued with a Personal Planner to assist with organising their work. Parents are asked to check and sign these on a weekly basis to ensure that homework is done.
Click below to view the homework timetable for the Spring 2019 term.
Here are a great selection of websites that might prove useful, either to help you to help your child with their homework or simply to enable them to find out a bit more about the topics they are studying in school.
If you find some websites of your own that you would recommend to other parents and pupils just let us know and we will add them to the list.
