Science Club – 27th November 2014, by Mila R.
“This week in Science Club, we decided to hold a vinegar volcano experiment. I am a Science Leader which means that I led the activity for Year 6, with my friend Sophie.
We decided to use beakers and explained why we used the vinegar, washing up liquid and food colouring. We also used bicarbonate of soda to react with the vinegar, producing carbon dioxide. This bubbles up and makes the volcano effect.
Everyone really enjoyed the activity and the science behind it. I like being a Science Club Leader and hope that any other things we do will be just as fun.”
