To kick start National Science and Engineering Week 2014, the whole school assembly had a visit from Dr Who! – arriving in his tardis.

The theme for this year is “Explore the Future”. Students were presented with the Big Bang, contributions from Scientists and were told to think about the future – what life will be like in 20/30 years from now.
“I think there will be flying cars.” – Sarah C
“Lots of buildings and no rainforests.” – Jessica H
“Water jet rockets for people to travel.” – Angus L
“More robots helping at home.” – Olivia D
“People will go to the moon for a holiday and have hover houses so we can get around flooding.” – Will C
