Our Local Community
Ralph Sadleir School is proud of its links with the local community and believe that broadening our local links will help establish and strengthen the school going forwards.
Standon and Puckeridge Hares FC have a long-term contract with the school and use our outdoor facilities for regular training, league matches and holiday camps. Children as young as 3 and up to 15 come on a weekly basis and we have been fortunate enough to have the club donate a defibrillator to the school, which will be located on the front of the school grounds and available to outside users.
The school has held first aid training for local residents hosted by the Standon and Puckeridge first responders and this included guidance on how to use these new defibrillators in the villages.
