All pupils have access to the LRC at school and follow the prestigious Renaissance Reading Scheme. Pupils are also able to choose books, complete research projects and access help for homework during breaks and lunchtimes.
Renaissance Learning – Home Connect
Parents / carers are able to log in to Renaissance Learning Home Connect using the same username and password which their child uses to access Renaissance Learning. From here parents / carers can view the results of their child’s book quizzing and setup an email to receive their child’s quiz results.
The Reading Cloud
The Reading Cloud is an online version of our school library catalogue, it also contains curriculum based web links and some e-books. This system allows pupils to view our school library catalogue online within school or from home. Pupils are encouraged to use this to find resources, to write reviews about books they have read and search for new books and other library resources. The system also links into our Accelerated Reader system and enables pupils to find books at their book level. Pupils can access the system directly by clicking here.
