Welcome back to an old friend!

On Wednesday 25th May, staff and pupils welcomed back Mrs Hinton, who wanted to present an assembly to talk about her first year of retirement.

Her assembly highlighted the opportunities that are out there for all of us to seize, that inspiration always starts with something small that has caught our attention, and that we can all inspire each other.

Mrs Hinton shared the variety of photographs that she has taken as part of her City and Guilds course, her trips to Duxford and back to France, and finally her bike ride in Pembrokeshire which raised £350 for the RSA.

She did admit to feeling slightly out of her comfort zone hosting an assembly after a year of retirement, but she quickly settled in to her flow and gave a positive, encouraging and uplifting presentation to show our pupils that the world is their oyster!
