British Science Week Competition Entries 2019
/in General news/by sadleir2021As part of British Science Week, children in years 7 and 8 were asked to create an entry for a poster competition on the theme of “Journeys”. As you can see from just a sample of the incredible work produced, it will be really difficult to choose the top 5 to send off to enter the national competition. The winners will be announced next week.
Lap-a-thon update
/in General news/by sadleir2021Wow! A huge thank you to all the pupils and families for their support of the Lap-a-thon on Cross Curricular Day last week. Monies are still coming in, but … we have broken the £2,000 barrier(!) with the current total standing at £2,875.60. An absolutely outstanding achievement. Well done!
Thank you all for your continued encouragement to the school in this venture.

Cross Curricular Day 13th March 2019
/in General news, Uncategorized/by sadleir2021Yesterday we had an exciting Science themed Cross Curricular Day to celebrate British Science Week. The children all took part in three different activities, all based on the theme of “Journeys”. They created and presented their designs for a lunar rover, learnt about the journey to the afterlife by mummifying oranges and discovered how the width of the wing span affects the flight of a paper aeroplane.
Cambridge Half Marathon

Children with Cancer UK
/in General news/by sadleir2021Tomorrow, some of our year 8 girls are holding a cake sale to raise money for Children with Cancer UK. Please help us to support their efforts by sending in donations of between 50p and £2, with cakes being sold for 50p each. Should you be able to send in any cakes please do so via the School Office in the morning. Thank you
